So many new Designers and Scripters that I know, have a difficult time breaking out into the real world. Most of this is due to some very important things that people simply don't learn in school.
JoshuaTree Designs is the design studio for Joshua Stachowski. Joshua is from Buffalo New York and is currently attending Full Sail Real World Education in Orlando Florida where he is studying for his Bachelor of Science degree in Digital Arts and Design.

I've been recently working on a social networking site of sorts for industry professionals. The idea is that everyone in the entertainment industry will have a place to go to network with other professionals. Members will be able to post their portfolio items such as photos, music, videos, and even flash games, as well as their resume. More info and screenshots after the jump...
I am currently in the process of adding some new portfolio items. It's been a long time since I've been able to submit updates so this one's been long overdue. Of the new items, two are online games. These tests were mandatory to take in my Communications class. There are 3 different tests here, and they're sure to tell you a lot about yourself that you may already know, but aren't fully aware of.

For most, adding an RSS feed to their website is simply a matter of writing a simple xml file. But what if your site is dynamically generated via PHP and a mySQL database. Do you really want to have to edit the XML file every time you add new content? Of course not! Here I explain how to use PHP to generate an RSS feed for your dynamic website.
As I have been expanding my knowledge of website design, I have come across some very valuable tools. One of which has been recently implemented into this site. That new tool is interactive 3D.
Here I take you through the process of designing a logo and accompaning marketing materials for a company. In short, you first need to capture a personality that describes the company. Then you should just run with it. Sometimes you may wonder, "Is this a little over the top?" If you're thinking this, it may be a good sign.
It's probably been a good 3 years now since I've had a completed online portfolio. After many redesigns, I can finally say that is no longer the case. I officially welcome you to the new JoshuaTree Designs!
